Left Case.
This is the cam follower sticking out of the case. It's the follower for the exhaust valve
on cylinder number 4. Evidently the valve spring broke and allowed the pushrod to beat the pulp out of the end of the
cam follower - thus the mushroom effect.(look closely). It was sticking in the case and the valve was not opening and closing
correctly.
Hydraulic lifter, piston, and cup. Not necessarily shown in the correct orientaion.
All cylinders on - Wood prop temporarily on
Engine is completely overhauled now. It runs good. I had to send the Stromberg carb off for overhaul.

Right case above with crank shaft and cam in it..
Cases back together with the the new cam follower installed.
Cylinder Number 3 is installed - 3 more to go.
